Marketing & Communications Specialist
We are hiring a part-time Marketing & Communications Specialist who is fluent with social media, publicity, website management and general storytelling operations.
Thanks to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, we will be giving a free concert at their church on Saturday, June 27th. You will hear some of the great songs from our May concert and the pieces that will be included in our performance at the Sister Singers Choral Festival in Chicago in July The concert will include compositions by our own Lytingale and Martha Burrows, as well as uplifting song of inspiration. Singing for joy, social justice and community empowers us – that’s where the hope comes from!

In 1988, Womansong, under the leadership of founding director Linda Metzner, created the New Start Fund to provide a hand up for a brighter and safe future to women in Western North Carolina. Through grants and scholarships, we support women who are starting on a new path to greater self-sufficiency.
The New Start Fund is administered by a volunteer group of Womansong members. This committee raises funds, and working with social service agencies and community colleges, distributes the funds.
